Unlock the full potential of your digital presence
Are you limited to one social platform? It’s not inherently bad or wrong. There are a couple of different theories depending on who you ask.
I’ve been studying this topic from the perspective of an NFT community member looking to expand their brand.
In reality, coming from the web3 space doesn’t affect your strategy much from someone building a personal brand from web2. There are some nuances, such as the profile picture aspect. Most of us in the NFT space use cartoon jpegs, not headshots. But, for now, we’ll leave that.
From my perspective, there are two most effective strategies.
Building Singularly
“Experts,” tell me that growing on one platform makes the most sense. I do see the logic and agree with it. However, I also believe the lateral strategy can work, which I’ll review next.
The benefit of focusing on a single platform is that all your content will be highly contextual. You’ll be able to spend all your time in the community on that platform, building your audience. Consistency will be easier to achieve, thus leading to better results.
Single platform benefits
A better understanding of the platform's algorithm
Greater ability to reach a specific target audience
Easier management
Building On Mulitple
Building on multiple platforms has apparent benefits, which we’ll discuss here. Still, it is essential to state that adding one platform is very different than adding 3-5, meaning there are levels to consider here.
Voices like Gary Vaynerchuk will resonate with the message you need to post multiple times daily on several platforms.
It’s important to state that both strategies have worked, and the real goal is to figure out what will work best for you.
Benefits of multi-platform
Broader audience reach
Increased visibility
Protection against algorithm changes
Results
I have a presence on several platforms and can confirm that I’ve built up the most influential audience on Twitter, as that is where most of my time has been spent.
I’ve recently started creating LinkedIn content (let’s connect!), which has already yielded good results. In the short amount of time on the platform, I can see an opportunity to build an audience in the web3 space using the same strategy as on Twitter.
Post thoughtful content.
Reply to relevant accounts.
The aspect you may need to learn is utilizing groups.
My Recommendation
Try multiple platforms and see which caters to your style of communication. Build your audience on that platform, and move on to a second when you feel ready to expand. Rinse and repeat.

Be patient, and stay consistent.

Story Time
I used to know this girl named Sarah. She had always been ambitious and hardworking, but her life worsened when her family lost everything in a financial disaster. The details of that, are not helpful to the story.
Feeling lost and alone, Sarah moved to a new city to start over. She didn’t have much money and found minimum-wage part-time work. Sarah didn’t have any meaningful connections. But she refused to give up on her dreams.
Determined to succeed, Sarah built a personal brand for herself. She knew that to stand out in a crowded job market; she needed to showcase her unique strengths and talents.
With discipline and consistency, Sarah began to pour all her time and energy into building her brand. She created a website, a blog, and a social media presence; all focused on showcasing her skills and experiences.
Despite her many obstacles, Sarah never wavered in her belief in herself and her abilities. She knew that she could achieve her goals with hard work and dedication.
As her brand began to gain traction, Sarah landed a series of high-profile job opportunities. Her determination, consistency, and belief in herself had paid off. She had found not only success but also a new sense of purpose and fulfillment.
In the end, Sarah realized that even when everything seems lost, you can achieve anything you want if you believe in yourself.
Thoughtful Tweets
Twitter Spaces
Check back weekly for tips
I’ve been hosting Twitter Spaces (social audio) every day for approximately a month. Before that, I was hosting just a few per month.
1) Take Notes - taking notes will allow you to recall information from other speakers & add clarity to your message
2) Schedule - Schedule your spaces a night in advance & make the topics clear

Content Tip
I sent out a tweet I would share in this week’s newsletter, an excellent tip for developing content topics. Congratulations, you made it!
Not only does this act as a content funnel, but it also generates ideas
Use Quora and Reddit to find out what people are curious about, create content for the questions they're asking, reply with thoughtful answers, and link to your content.
Your content can be a medium post, substack… anything!
On Quora, you can search for topics such as “web3” or “content creation,” filter it by last month and see what people are asking about!
There are three great topic ideas for content, and people post these questions daily.

Funnel readers Into your ecosystem
Stay on the pulse of what people are discussing
You can do this same strategy on Reddit by joining sub-communities of niches you write about
I hope this helps!

I recently had the opportunity to have a conversation with Pio over Twitter spaces, enjoy!
My Community For Creators
In October I launched “Sloth Friends” on Ethereum. It was initially designed to bring people together from various interests such as sports, fitness, motivation etc
That aspect of the project didn’t resonate with people. I also with it launched a system for people to drop “whitelist” spots for upcoming projects. Holding a Sloth Friend NFT would allow you to participate in these raffles. That aspect stuck and is still operational.
However, I still see a huge opportunity to use the blockchain to bring like-minded people together, which I intend to do with Sloth Friends.
The goal as we advance will be to bring as many talented and aspiring content creators together.
The community lives on Discord, but I’d be happy to build out on Twitter as well, depending on how holders see fit.
